Child Safety on Dex Bound

Dex Bound is made for players 13 and up.

While we do have Dexling accounts for children 12 and under we don't recommend downloading Dex Bound at all.

Dex Bound is like walking into a town square: you can talk with ANYBODY. You could meet your new best friend… or a total weirdo. That’s true of every online platform, not just Dex Bound.

Why are we being so upfront?

Because we care. We moderate, filter, ban and act on reports, but we’re people, and no platform can promise your child is completely safe. We’d rather say it and lose a user than risk it.

Do you ask for ID or face scans?

No, We believe that it's dangerous for online anonymity and overall security. We use Dexling accounts and parent controls instead.

So how do I make a Dexling account?

On the sign up page set your child's birthday and if they are under 13 you will be asked to add a parent's email from there you can finish making the account.

The default permissions are: No Voice chat, No text chat, No Biography, No custom username or display name, No publishing games, No adding friends and No joining parties.

If you want to add or remove permissions go to dexn.online/account

There you can turn things on and off.

What happens when they turn 13?

The account automatically removes your email and turns into a "Dexer" account meaning they have full access to all of Dex Bound with no restrictions.

If you feel that your child is not ready at 13 you can extend it to when they turn 16 after that it's in their hands.

Are these tools free?

Yes.

Do I need to make an account to control my child's account?

No.
